Cold weather can be uncomfortable for many brachycephalic dogs. Their compact structure and broad chest make it difficult to find coats that fit well. Many models are bulky or restrict movement. The Kamo faux fur coat is designed to offer warmth and a more natural fit.

The outer fabric is shaved faux fur with a dark green camouflage pattern. It is soft, warm, and breathable. Inside, the orange faux fur lining provides lightweight insulation and comfort against the fur.

The fabric retains heat, offering lightweight insulation without creating excessive bulk.

During the development phase, tests were carried out on brachycephalic dogs. This allowed for the definition of a cut that follows the natural shape of the broad chest and compact body. The fit is thus more balanced, comfortable, and free from stiffness.

Two rows of snap buttons allow for adjustable fit. The opening on the back allows the harness to be attached without moving the coat. The martingale detail completes the garment's design.

Result: comfortable warmth, stable fit, and freedom of movement during winter walks.

The camouflage pattern, now well-known and loved, was developed by French artist Lucien-Victor Guirand de Scévola and others in 1914, when soldiers' uniforms were "camouflaged" to protect them from enemies. This trend was soon adopted by most nations for the same purpose. In nature, many animals blend into their environment to protect themselves from predators, and it is believed that the artist was inspired by nature itself.
