Unlike many bulky winter garments, this model follows the natural shape of the dog's body. The sleeveless cut and slightly wider leg openings allow the dog to move freely during the walk. The two rows of front snap buttons also allow for adjustable fit.

The well-known puffer jacket, also called "puffy" or "puffer", is said to have been invented by Eddie Bauer in 1936 after he nearly died of hypothermia returning from a fishing trip. The incident inspired the creation of a diamond-quilted jacket padded with real goose feathers. It is still very popular today! However, there is a narrative that attributes the origin of this garment to the Canadian Inuit who wore a version of it with a leather exterior to protect themselves from low temperatures. We all thank both Bauer and the Inuit for their effective insights that served as the basis for new ecological technologies.
